I did a text search at Maemo for aisleriot and went to the page that resulted and tried to download to my NIT. It wouldn't install. So for someone not versed in the intricacies of repos and debs, how does one go about installing this?

Thanks Tim,

Seems I have a learning curve to address here. There is so much that goes on in these forums that presumes a certain level of knowledge and expertise. Jargon, acronyms, linux commands all at once. I wish I had the time to learn all this stuff, but right now I'm tearing out my kitchen and doing working drawings for a bunch of houses. Learning Linux is not on the top of my to do list at the moment. It will be soon I hope.:)

Reading further down that thread, it looks like how to install this game changed several times.

This post seems to indicate the easiest current way to install it:

But I say that from reading the thread, and not actually having installed Aisleriot.

It is a bit of a ridiculous amount of effort to install a card game isn't it!
Still, on the bright side, on the 770 I had to build it myself.

Edit:
And not only that, it doesn't install. It says the card theme and help are incompatible packages and won't install the application as it is lacking guile and the card theme
