unable to connect to wifi
Hi,
weired problem: when I try to connect to ANY wireless (to which I was previously able to connect), the icon starts flashing as usual (to say connecting), then disappears, without any connection. in other words: 1- click on wireless icon 2- select any network 3- click "connect" 4- icon flashing 5- icon off; no connection. Note: this only occurs from the boot from the memory card; internal flash connects as usual. Is there a way to fix this without loosing my mmc boot? thank you Ilia |
Re: unable to connect to wifi

after a repair, intenet still doesn't work :( is there a xterm command to connect? I would try it; who knows? |
Re: unable to connect to wifi
I did have an odd problem where I could connect to wireless AP and it would sort of work but eventually drop out. I discovered that manually creating my own /etc/resolv.conf was a bad idea, and it ended up with some odd settings in /etc/resolv.d (or something like that). I rm'd the files, restarted wifi and it worked.
Not that this might be the same problem as you, but worth checking! |
