Headphones...
I just got the N810, and I love it so far.
Here's a ******ed question about the headphones though. Why is the right cord so much longer than the left? If I put them in my ears, the distance from the fork to the left earbud is maybe 7 inches, but the distance from the fork to the right earbud is closer to 15 inches. There doesn't appear to be any way to adjust it. I'm assuming this is a defect, but I figure I'll post here first just to make sure I'm not missing something. |
Re: Headphones...
Same for me. Just a crappy defect on a really nice (otherwise) pair of headphones

Re: Headphones...
I run the right bud around the back of my head to the ear which makes it more reasonable. I guess I have a big head.
They do work great though and will suffice until a2dp arrives. |
Re: Headphones...
Yup - its so one can go around the back of your head - they make them like that so if you want to take off the headphones for a while you can just drape them around the back of your neck (1 on each side). It's actually quite a normal setup, been around since walkmans were cool

Re: Headphones...
You ran cable for the right earphone behind your neck. In this way earphones are hanging on your neck when not in ears.

Re: Headphones...
I lol'ed I remember thinking the same thing a few years ago when I spent $70 on a nice set of earbuds (thats a lot for me) that I had been ripped off because they were broken. I went back to the store and the salesperson laughed at me saying they were designed to run around the back of the head :). I actually prefer this design now.

Re: Headphones...
OH wow. I feel stupeed now. I don't listen to music really so headphones aren't a big deal to me unless I'm watchin a video. I'll have to try that sometime, thanks guys xD

Re: Headphones...
Huh, ok. I guess I'll try using them the intended way. At present, the setup seems pretty annoying, and I've been using an uncomfortable pair of crappy iRiver earbuds.
