N810 for $250 or N800 for $200: Decisions, Decisions!!
 

Long time Nokia tablet admirer, finally ready to buy today.

Got two offers from Craigslist:
N810 for $250 (like new. 3 weeks old? replaced ipod-touch)
N800 for $200 (unopened new. with 3 month Skype)


Decisions Decisions... for a first time buyer, technically advanced buyer -- which one you recommend? plz help! :)

Dang! Definitely go for the N810... Man I paid $370 for my N810 only a few months ago! I'm feeling ripped off now that the price is plummeting... maybe it's time to get a backup one? :P

N810 all the way. I just purchased mine from a small marketing group of folks who were GIVEN the N810 by Nokia to use in their adverts. They never used it except for a couple days and had all the box items and such. No receipt tho as they were simply given the unit. Paid $325 for something less than a month old and barely touched. $250 is an even better deal!

N810. Looks SO much better. Is a bit smaller. Has keyboard.

Nope; you just need the WLAN ID, which is written inside the battery door and can be obtained from the running system anyway, failing that. :)

It will be from when Nokia thinks he purchased it, though, without a receipt. (Could be as far back as December-ish.)

I'm using my N800 again after mailing my N810 in for repairs, and I have to say... you made the right decision there, especially for just a $50 difference!
