HH-12 mount available by itself anywhere?
 

Ok so all Im looking for is the stand-alone HH-12 adaptor for my car. All I can find is the $60 version that comes with the CR89 additional holder for (i believe) an N95 or similar phone...I dont want that extra piece as it appears to drive the charge up tremendously. Is it possibly to find the HH-12 mount by itself?? I already have the mount for my 810 since it came with the unit itself (as we all know).

In the UK Nokia only seem to sell it with the phone holder. I got mine in the January sales so that made it a bit more palatable - still cost me about £20 though.

It works well, but the odd/irritating thing is that it needs a screwdriver to assemble so you can't easily/quickly swap over between the cellphone holder and the N810 holder. Apart from that its a good solution.

Yeah that seems to be the standard....with the phone holder. I dont have a phone that I would even contemplate using a car mount for so that is not really a want of mine. Its irritating they advertise on the site by itself but then its not available anywhere by itself.

Are there comparable mounts that are as sturdy (Im assuming the Nokia one is sturdy as it looks pretty good) where i dont have to shell out $40?

In Finland HH-12 is available separately everywhere. You could check Nokia online shop.

Its not available via Nokia's Online Shop here in the USA unfortunately.

Nokia is ridiculously under-represented in the US market, although I think its hilarious that Nokia probably spent a decent amount of money to put their name on the big ol concert hall thats right next to the Staples center right near where I am here in Los Angeles. How bout releasing more phones/gadgets for us North America folk at the same time!!!!!!! I digress

I got the panavise holder (the thread should be here) with the AMP mount which should work with the cradle that came with the n810 (though you might need to get 4 nylon 8x20 nuts and bolts or similar to bolt the mounts together - they seem to stay locked when tight without damaging which I was afraid of for metal bolts).

expansys sells the hh12
