os2007 libraries in 2008 applications?
 

hello,
am I missing something or is it the case that I have to download a few os2007 libraries so my 2008 software can run? For example, libdbus-1-2-1 and hildon-libs0 are necessary to install pidgin and libdbus-1-2-1 to install oemweather.
why is this? why doesn't it work with all 2008 libs?
any ideas oor comments?

You're trying to install the wrong Pidgin if it wants those libs. Do not force it or you'll have a reboot loop in your hands.
