Claws-Mail: Opening links in browser?
The maemo browser can be opened with a given URL from the command line like this:
Code:
browser --url=http://google.com Code:
/usr/bin/browser --url='%s' This is with Claws-Mail 3.4.0 on OS2008. |
Re: Claws-Mail: Opening links in browser?
Code:
browser '%s' |
Re: Claws-Mail: Opening links in browser?
I am having the same problem using 3.7.1. Have configured External Program browser entry to call "tear" but claws continues to insist on calling default browser.
Any one have any tips on how to overcome this? Thx Alan |

Re: Claws-Mail: Opening links in browser?
Unfortunately I don't use Claws, but did you try giving the path too? Like
/usr/bin/tear "%s" |
Re: Claws-Mail: Opening links in browser?
I tried putting the path in too, still no success :(
However, that path does work with Pidgin. |
Re: Claws-Mail: Opening links in browser?
Which version of Tear do you have?
|
Re: Claws-Mail: Opening links in browser?
Bundyo, it doesnt have to do with tear or any other browser, but with the claws mail. Claws run the maemo browser, whatever you set on the preferences. I ve tried with midory and fennec, even setting the configuration file, but the port of claws runs only the maemo browser, and this cannot be configured yet.
