Cellphone as a GPS Receiver

Hello,

Has anyone been successful in pairing their cell phones with the n800 to use it as a GPS Receiver?

Is it even possible?

Thanks,
Sammm

For WM - probably only using Gpsgate or similar software.

But that only works for the Nokia NX series of phones, I thought.

There aren't any maemo apps that use j2me to retrieve gps locations?

Gpsgate can act as a bluetooth GPS. Or at least that's the plan. :) Not sure if it is working.

I use ExtGPS on my S60 phone. Lets my Tablet see the phones GPS-Data over bluetooth.

My Motorola i875 happily pairs with my N800 as a Bluetooth GPS receiver--no extra software necessary. Sadly, the i875 can almost never find any satellites, so it's quite useless.
