installing the Fennec web browser for dummies
Forgive me if this is a repost, but I just noticed that Mark Finkle posted an update on Fennec this afternoon.

works so so..has to be run from commandline....wont start otherwise...well closes itself after a few seconds,....and no keyboard...looks pretty...

77KB? that seems strangely small...
still, thanks. im going to give it a spin... ah, see now that the real install file is 9,4MB, and the install will in total take up 26MB... |

yep, spotted that.
hmm, seems that it needs a N810 or a N800 with a bluetooth keyboard to get url entry. inscreen keyboard do not seem to work (didnt test full screen keyboard tho). also, the scrolling is a bit strange. one have to stop before more of the page shows... |

yeah my kid stole the batteries for his keyboard...nice....have to use the buggy bigger on...i get a segmentation fault...

It does say in releases notes you need Nokia n810

heh, i guess im just to used to reading N810 requirements as N800/N810 requirements when it comes to software :P

They removed kinetic scroll in this new version. Still crashes after a couple of minutes/pages.
