Some of my favourite tiny desktop apps
 

Some small utilities I added to my desktop for convenience. True, there are more elegant ways to do it. But this is what I do and it works, both chinook and diablo. And more so, you can open the text file and modified the commands as you see fit.

Several small apps you need to install

1) becomeroot
eko.one.pl/maemo
bora
user

2) osso-statusbarcpu
Find it from your app manager; if not, http://people.debian.org/~tschmidt/m...tatusbar-cpu/; take the last file, armel.deb

3) osso-screenshot-tool
From chinook, or
http://tuomas.kulve.fi/debian
chinook
maemo

Chances are, they are already in your app manager, try that first. Always add repo then choose the prog from app manager. It works better.

download the bunsdandies.sh.zip
unzip it anyway you want,
BunReboot.sh
UsbHost.sh
UsbUnhost.sh
DelayShot.txt

Copy the 3 .sh to /home/user; file manager will do
xterm
become root
cd /home/user
chmod +x BunReboot.sh UsbHost.sh UsbUnhost.sh

Statusbarcpu>Settings...>Commands>New> Description: say anything you want
and > Command:/home/user/BunReboot.sh

Repeat the above for the rest of the two .sh.

On the delayshot, just open the .txt and paste the line of commands onto the Command section. You change the delay by modify the sleep time, currently it is set as 30

Now enjoy. I know, it is a 10 min job, but you use it all the time, it worthes the effort. Sure, you can do it in many many many elegant way. As usual, none of these are bun's work, I stole it somewhere on the forum, if YOU see it is yours, please post and I will gladly put credits to the rightfully deserved.
