N810 Architecture
Hey. I heard that the n800 and the 770 had ARM processors. And the n810 has a TI OMAP processor. What architecture is that based on? Is there any way I could install a gcc-based compiler or even gcc? If it is based on ARM, could I cross-compile my C programs(I have some that I NEED to run on the tablet)? Would they work in Xterminal? How about bash? I hope I can but BASH or at least SH on it!
SO that whole thing comes down to: 1. Could I run command-line programs on the tablet? 2. Is Bash or sh available for the n810? 3. What shell does the n810 use as default? |
Re: N810 Architecture

2. Yes 3. Yes |
Re: N810 Architecture

Re: N810 Architecture
N800 and N810 are the same board basically. The TI OMAP is an all-in-one chip that contains an ARM11 core. Both a cross compile version of gcc and a native gcc are available. Bash is available as well. Hope that helps.
