Import .contact files from Vista to N810
 

I am using Windows Vista on my laptop, and Diablo Mail on the N810, which I understand is Modest.
I have transferred my contacts from my phone using Nokia PC Suite. Now I have a bunch of .contact files in my Contacts folder, each file for each contact.
I sent one file to the N810 and tried to import, but the Contacts program on doesn't see any .contact file on the memory card.
Is there a way to import these .contact files to the Contacts program on the tablet?

If these are saved in your Outlook for windows. You can export all contacts as comma separated csv files and import them as that file into the N810.

in outlook; exported entire contacts to csv. saved this csv. in n810. in diabo contacts; imported the csv., i get "file not recognized" message. any help would be nice on this. thx

i finally found out myself. ... thank goodness, i almost tossed this gadget through the wall.
