UKMP sound playback not good (c/w Media Player)
 

When I use UKMP (Diablo N810) to play back music the music quality is much poorer than using Media Player.

Can anyone help?

Do you have ogg installed and are you playing ogg encoded files?

My experience is that ogg creates very poor sound quality in UKMP. A shame because this is my preferred player.

I do not have ogg installed.

These files are all wma files (from CD I ripped on my Windows PC Windows Media Player)

The problem is the wma format. When I ripped CD using mp3 the sound was fine in UKMP

Since I upgraded to Diablo I get dropout whenever I play a MP3 file using UKMP Version 1.74. I also installed Diablo on my wifes N800 and it is the same. Canola and the built in media player plays just fine. Mediabox also works just fine.

Can anyone help with this?
