N800 USB connects then disconnects on Vista
 

I'm trying to flash my N800 with Diablo. I've connected my N800 to my PC (running Vista) with the original Nokia USB cable. I turn on the N800 and the USB icon comes up on it's screen for a moment, I hear the sound from my PC that a USB device is detected, then after about 1 second the USB icon on the N800 disappears and Vista makes the USB device disconnecting noise, then the N800 continues to boot and is detected as a mass storage device by Vista.

I tried removing the battery from the N800. I can't really think of anything else to try.

Try this... remove sd cards. It work for me sometimes but other times I have to try reconnecting several times until Vista and N800 fall in love.
