A little help with 2008HE...

Hello, I finally picked up my 770 the other day for the first time in a LONG time and installed 2008HE on it and everything to my surprise works great, except for the audio. It sounds funny, I thought I remembered reading somewhere that they had a patch out for it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

It's weird everybody report sound problem with 2008HE. It sounds just perfect on my N770. The only patch I applied was the fanoush SDHC kernel patch so nothing to do with sound.
__________
I tried the softvol trick in mplayer, but it did not seem to make a difference (between softvol=true and softvol=false). However, I installed ogg-support (0.7) before (instead of mogg), and it did seem to make a big difference in the volume!

Now the media playing is working decently (, so I'm thinking whether I'll get rid of OS2007HE to free up some space.

Well the audio problem is not exactly the problem, it would be more exact to say the built-in speaker is not very loud, you will find with headphones it is just right. I think it has something to do with not mixing the stereo signal to mono.
