Password Gorilla
Has anyone else tried to run Password Gorilla (on Diablo)?
We recently implemented PG at the office and appreciate its cross-platform capability. I noticed that there is an ARM port of the tclkit: http://www.equi4.com/tclkit/download.html So I of course had to try it out on my N810! Unfortunately it did not work. I received a "No such file or directory" in ash & bash. I followed the install instructions here: http://www.fpx.de/fp/Software/Gorilla/ and tried including my created Gorilla directory in $PATH in .bashrc Anyone else want to try it? What all is involved in packaging an app for the NIT (I'm kinda new to the platform)? Links? Thanks! Cheers Jason |
Re: Password Gorilla
The N8x0s use a special version of ARM called ARMEL so most likely it will need to be re-compiled.
But since the source code for everything is available, that shouldn't be terribly difficult. I'd have a crack at it if I could :/ |
Re: Password Gorilla
I have Password Gorila on my Vista Laptop and use the Password Safe on N800.
To share the datafile between the Password Gorilla and the PasswordSafe, save the file (using Gorilla) using format "V2 Unicode Support" (not Password Safe 3 format). Transfer the datafile to N8x0 and it should work. It works for me. |
Re: Password Gorilla
Cool, thanks!
I'll give Password Safe a shot. Still, it would be nice to have a native port of Password Gorilla for the N8x0... Cheers |
Re: Password Gorilla
Wow, yeah, count me in too as someone who would like this ported. It seems very user intuitive.
