App manager trying to use non-existent proxy
I upgraded my N810 a while ago to Diablo and everything in the app manager seemed to work fine (Including updates). Now when I try to check for updates the manager reports that it's trying to access 127.0.0.1:8118 which leads me to believe it thinks it should be using Privoxy.
I've never had Privoxy installed under Diablo and as I said this used to work. Now the behaviour has changed and I don't know how to correct it. Is there a config file I can edit to tell the app manager not to use a proxy? Other apps such as the web browser are working fine and the connection settings aren't configured to use a proxy. |
Re: App manager trying to use non-existent proxy
If you have an xterm; try to print the value of http_proxy:
echo $http_proxy The configuration of apt-get is in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/ |
