Step by step needed
Hi,
I've just recently bought a Nokia 770 internet tablet running Internet tablet 2006 operating system. I want to upgrade to the 2007 hacked edtion but I don't understand how to do it, as I've had no experience using Linux. I found the files to install but I'm not sure what to do with them. I copied them to my tablet but when I found them the tablet wouldn't open them, let alone run them. Is there a step by step guide to do this, that doesn't involve having to input lines of code? Also where can I find the hidden menu? |
Re: Step by step needed
1. Download the nokia internet tablet software updater for windows from nokia.com
2. Fully charge the 770 3. Download the image of the 2007 hacker edition on to your computer 4. connect the 770 via usb cable to the computer 5. Switch off the 770 6. Run the internet tablet software updater on your computer and follow the instructions. 7. You have to switch on the 770 while holding the home button to let the software update wizard identify your tablet. Then follow the instructions of the wizard. |
