maemo mapper help
how do you download a map of an area in maemo mapper. when i try to imput the latitude and longitude and download it, it crashes.
|
1. Are you connected to the internet?
2. Have you specified a Map Download URI? What is it? 3. Did you change the default Map Cache directory? 4. How many maps are you trying to download at once? 5. What version of Maemo Mapper are you using? |
wat is the map download uri? (sorry if this seems simple)

I don't see a ?dir? command to use to see my directory trees anywhere.... I realize this isn't that clunky old DOS, I do, so no flames, heheh. Please train me? Thanks again... |
Some common linux commands:
ls - List the contents of the current directory. like DOS DIR command. Common options are -l for long format showing permissions, dates, etc. -a or -A to include hidden files and directories in the list (hidden files and directory names begin with a .)pwd - Print current/working directory So you know where you are.cd - Change current/working directory. Same as DOS. cd - (cd space dash) will toggle between the current directory and the previous directory.mkdir - Make a directory cp - Copy a file or directory. use -r option to copy directory trees mv - Move (rename) files. rm - Remove files or directories. use -r option to remove directory trees. (be careful with that one) |
