defective battery ?
 

so i got my new n810 few days ago, i tried to charge the battery with the device off for a whole night, the screen says "charging" and the green light kept flashing, the next day i woke up and turn on the device, the battery bar is only 1/4 full and it says it will only last an hour when in use .....is my battery a defective unit???

because in that process i truned-on and off the device serveral times, everytime you turn-off and on the device consumpt lots of power... which i didn't know before, i thought turn it off will save more power instead...
