possible EVE-Online Theme
 

I've started designing a preview of a possible EVE-Online theme for Chinook/Diablo.
Here's what I've done so far in one hour work...

Just tell me what you're thinking of... there's much work to do so far, I know.

I've also some kind of Apple iPhone theme in my mind...

Looks great.

It's a theme I would really like to use. Clean and easy. The only thing I notice is the icons look a bit weird. I don't know - maybe something cleaner and more sugestive...

i am currently using the original iconset from eve-online.
for the one in the middle i should perhaps choose some "people" and not a "letter"...

the icons in the taskbar are currently the original hildon ones - perhaps i draw some more eve'ish ones. let's see... it's a spare-time project... like many others ;-)

Very nice!

As a former EVE-Online player I will probably install it once it is done ;)

(hmmm, this is the second thread about EVE on ITT in one week...this makes me to almost re-open my account....)

That is a very nice looking theme... I might use that and I only ever played the 14 day trial on Eve.

After Everquest, WoW, Everquest 2... I just got tired of playing a monthly fee for an MMORPG. And EVE is one of the more expensive ones IIRC. Not worth it :)... was a nice game though.. did have fun.

I love it, EVE is a great looking game, and this seems to be a great looking Theme.

Hehe well since I commented in the other EVE post I feel obligated to continue my streak...2 for 2!!!

In any case, a very nice background indeed. I think if you could find a REAL in game photo of a station (preferably Amarr...they look the nicest) with a nice backdrop of a moon or star and some ships in the foreground you'd be golden. That would be my ideal wallpaper at the moment. I do like the mail icon however it looks a bit "weird" as another poster mentioned. Maybe it needs to be a little smaller? The star map icon is ok but maybe use the browser icon from the game (if you can) as the web button.

Looking good so far tho!!!

As a side note - EVE is probably one of the more expensive MMOs out there but after trying free trials of Anarchy Online, WoW, Everquest, EVE is the ONLY one that could keep my attention. There is a lot more involved (at least IMO) regarding tactics and engagement of ships than other PVP games. Its addicting :) Especially now that Im in a pirate corp...lovin it. But I digress.....
