Locking the desktop apps and more
 

Hi,
I have omweather,gpesummary,and personal launcher on my desktop
and I'd like to know if there is a way to lock the apps inplace.Gpe is particularly
troublesome, when I attempt to scroll through my alarms the app moves all over the place.Anyway to get the todo's and launch buttons to head the list?
My omw randomly auto changes the city it's reporting. Also is there a way to have the text lead the icon?
last how do you copy a line of text in the browser window? When I try to hilite
a section to copy the whole window scrolls up,down,or sideways!?

Locking is planned for Fremantle (next full OS release) sometime in 2009.

As for selection - double click and drag.

I always wanted locking, but now that my sis has a touch the idea of having different home screens seems very plausible.

maybe a "mark text" option under the "edit" section of the browsers menu could be a option?

hmm, maybe ill file a featue request...
