Nokia 770. Maemo Mapper. HELP!!!!!
 

Hi, i have the 770 and i want maemo mapper but whenever i download any of them it says i have missing packages and cannot install.


PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Help

Also does anyone have the link for os2007 HE???

The best place to look in "extras" repository for your OS version. The trick to installing is to have the correct repositories referenced in the Applications Manager. Place the following 3 lines in your 770 in a text file called repository.install and execute that file. Maemo Mapper should then be available to you for the 770.

[install]
repo_name = Maemo Garage (new gregale)
repo_deb = deb http://repository.maemo.org/extras/ gregale free non-free

Garnet VM beta II ( 1.0.1 beta) - see absolutely NO difference between 770 and N8x0! Go get it!

I am running OS2007 and to get Mapper to work for me I had to down grade to 2.4.1. But after that it works fantastic!
