Maemo help ::scratching head::
 

i just cant figure out how to use this program... my free trail ran out on wayfinder and i really liked it, very tomtom ish. but maemo has got me stumped...

first of all you have to have an internet connection to plan a route so it will download the right maps. and how ever you go about planning a route i have no idea.... ???


id really like to have something that pretty much turns the NIT into a tomtom... like wayfinder but free would be nice...

ill be taking a trip to Germany next year and it would be very helpful to have a device to help me navigate. or when i travel in state and take a taxi it would be nice to know if the guy is really taking me where i need to go in a direct route. or even traveling around town, i always take the NIT with me, and it would be nice to not have to take the NIT and the tomtom and car chargers for both...
