Aisleriot on Latest 2008?
 

I'm using the latest version of OS2008: 4.2008.30-2 and can't seem to get Aisleriot to work. Any ideas?

It is working on mine...same OS etc.

Where is the problem / breakdown occurring?

Does it install OK?

Another "works for me" (except the fullscreen button, same as in Chinook) with more details:
In the application manager, add this repository:

Catalong name: debfarm
Web address: http://debfarm.free.fr
Distribution: chinook
Components: user

It has Asileriot and a variety of other useful (or anti-useful; we're talking about solitare here) software. Everything I've tried from there works fine on Diablo despite being a Chinook repo.

works also for me, same OS.
To get full screen do:
Press the Aislriot menu butom
Select View
and select first option
press enter.

Thanks VERY much to PAPPP (that did it) and to luso (great tip). I'm a happy N800 user again. By the way, my battery does seem to last quite a bit longer with the newest software.

Looks like a higher version has appeared in the official repository for diablo, which will be taken in priority.

I am responsible for this one. It's only in extras-devel, I am still wondering if I should try somehow to fix broken aisleriot.xhtml help file or let it be

I would say that help files would be useful. At least to look up rules for some of the more complicated ones...

There is another thread concerning aisleriot, there were quite some users who wanted this card game, it's really good that it's on maemo now, this was needed.
I'm only hosting the binary and their dependencies, somebody else did the port, no idea about this help file but I remember one or two persons reporting the problem.
