Nokia N800 New Owner.
 

Hey guys... im new to this forum sorry if i put it in the wrong section... im thinking of buying n800 mostly using it for watching video online and listening to music.

i was wondering how is the picture and the music quality?

i heard it has 2 memory card slot. can it support two 8GB so i will have 16GB for songs and videos? or maybe two 16GB will work so i can have more space and have 32GB? i dont know if it will work so i need your guys help if any1 has done it.

is it worth it upgrading from os 2007 to 2008? any specific cool software to download?

and overall are you happy with your n800? what is the positive and negative about it.

second yes u can Insert in Every sdhc card,8 16 32 64,u can try two of 64 gb

third yeah be sure for updating it to os 2008 And for more apps/tools


and yeah again i like my own,



positive:


1 nice device for internet ebook music video and even game

2 fast cpu

3 not very heavy,i always carry on into my jean's pocket

4 it's not a pda or ppc,it's a mini laptop and u can join it external devices via USB and Bluetooth

5 nice and useful apps (you can't find it on Symbian,Java or even iphone)

negative:

1 the frame is very Sensitive,WARNING :eek: Never Drop It Down

2 the quality of camera is not good (Infact that's a webcam) 0.4 pixel!

3 The Device Memory Is Very Low And Only 256 Mb (N810 Has An Internal 2 GB)

4 The Screen Display Of N800 Is Not Good In The Fronf Of Sun!

they have 64gb? i never knew that haha. is the battery good? my n95 is pretty crappy on battery life hardly last 2 days. anything else i should be awared of? or upgrade?

Battery life tends to depend on usage - it can sit idling for over a week, but if I'm watching movies / browsing around on-line and use bluetooth keyboard, only a few hours. That said, I use mine constantly, for random to-do lists, calendar etc and it lasts all day.

It's a great little device if you like Linux, or love hacking/tweaking things.
