let me clarify- afaik - the wimax has not been released
so i do not think it is unopened -because it doesn't exist yet
i think anyone who is offering one for sale (for immed del'y-not backordered or pre-ordered) at this time is a scam artist
the price @$300 or 299 is way too low

The linked item gives an email address and says it is for "quick response". You could try asking them, though I wouldn't necessarily trust their response.
