[Canola] Last.fm Crash Killed Canola
I'm using Canola beta 9 in Diablo on an 810.
I tried out the last.fm plug-in to listen to a station for the first time. It got half way through the song and then froze my whole tablet. I held the power button for a reset. Now whenever I try to use canola I can get through all the menus and things just fine but as soon as I try to play something it just won't play or go to the play window. The song or video I selected disappears from the list and I can still scroll up & down the list but everything else becomes unresponsive to the point where I have to kill the program by closing it in the app switcher by pressing the side hard button. I tried uninstalling the program but when I reinstalled it the same thing was still happening. I tried to run clean-up but it give an Unsupported Platform error. I'd just like to be able to use the program again because it's pretty much useless right now. Thanks |

Re: Last.fm Crash Killed Canola
Hi eNons3nse,
try do that: 1) open a terminal 2) remove your .canola dir (rm -rf .canola) 3) run canola in the terminal using: canola -vv If it doesn't work fine, put the output messages here, ok? Br, Afonso |
Re: Last.fm Crash Killed Canola
that actually did work. thanks a lot. what was the problem?
should i avoid using last.fm radio? it was scrobbling for me just fine. |
Re: Last.fm Crash Killed Canola
Hi eNons3nse,
Probably canola or lastfm-plugin saved some wrong configuration in your preferences file. Now you can try to use lastfm radio again. I'm using that plugin in my N810 at this moment and it's working fine. :) |
