bump for a serious price drop.
BUY IT! |
Re: (FS/USA) Lightly Used Palm Bluetooth Keyboard 3245WW
geez... i dunno... if it came with the dollar, maybe... but, i just don't know...
;) |
Re: (FS/USA) Lightly Used Palm Bluetooth Keyboard 3245WW
Does it come with 2 RadioShock batteries? ;)
Keep coming down, and I might just buy it back, but there's a reason I made that trade; I just don't need two of the same keyboard -- even at this (quite good) price! |
Re: (FS/USA) Lightly Used Palm Bluetooth Keyboard 3245WW
haha! :)
It won't be getting any lower. I have more Tech Stuff to buy this week and this price helps me rationalize  |
Re: (FS/USA) Lightly Used Palm Bluetooth Keyboard 3245WW
well, how about throwing that dollar in to sweeten the deal, then? ;)
I like the idea of the 5-row keyboard, versus my iGo StowAway with a 4-row keyboard... but (obviously) I wouldn't need two bluetooth keyboards... else I might buy it myself. |
Re: (FS/USA) Lightly Used Palm Bluetooth Keyboard 3245WW
Why not? I have an iGo (stowaway, I guess; the normal 4-row thing) and one of these (I swapped my spare (which you now see) to maxinflixion last week for some GPS stuff, but still have one of each), and use both.
See, I can hip-pocket either one anywhere, and usually do, but if I expect to be doing more in-air typing while walking, I take the iGo (slightly smaller and uber-rigid), and if I expect to be doing more hacking/note-taking, I take the Palm (all the right keys in all the right places). I wouldn't go so far as to say two keyboards is twice as nice as one, but it's not bad either. And maxinflixion: rationalization FTW! |

I am seriously thinking about getting this keyboard.
Anyone here used this before? How portable is it? Is it fat finger friendly? |
Re: (FS/USA) Lightly Used Palm Bluetooth Keyboard 3245WW
(Note: I don't actually touch-type, although I'm pretty sure this would be fine for that too. I use pretty much all 8 fingers, but in a liberally flying around style involving looking at the keyboard rather often.)
Yeah, I have one just like it. I don't like to call my fingers fat, but they're not exactly dainty, and it works fine. As you can see, it folds up to just a smidgen over half its deployed size; it's maybe 1/8" wider than the N800. Stacking it on my laptop keyboard (HP tx2000) the layout looks almost a half-key shorter over a whole row. |
