updating browser?
 

Hi,

I just bought an N810. I have an AJAX-based site that, rather disappointingly, does not do the AJAX bit in the built-in browser. QA bit of Googling turned up the following bug:

and I think that is causing the problem. It seems to have been fixed a long time ago. How would I go about updating the browser to the latest version?

Installing the "Diablo" update then installing two Seamless Software Updates, will get you the lastest browser version. No promises your page will work, though.

If you give me a link to your site, I can test (I'm running the latest browser version already).

Thanks, but it looks like that involves reflashing the entire device. Is there any way to just update the browser (since I have OS2008)?

Unless you install some SVN version or something, I don't think so. Then again I've never really looked into it, so... I may not be the guy to ask.

No. Flash the device and install the SSU updates. You'll be much happier afterwards.
