My N800 won't boot in install mode
 

Hi there,
I bought an N800 off ebay couple of weeks ago and it finally arrvied yesterday.
It was working fine with normal boot but the previous owner didn't erase his files therefore i want to reinstall the OS2008 to clean it up.
But the thing is i cannot boot into install mode, i pressed on home key for about 1 minute but nothing happened. I also have fully recharged the battery so there wouldn't be any battery issue.
Any thoughts?

I presume the button is working fine as in normal boot, i can hear the "click sound" when i click that home button.

The N800 must be plugged into a computer via USB in order to go into this mode.

Switch off the device, Plug in the USB, hold down the button, then plug it in to the charger. The charger will automatically switch it on.
