OS 2006 Install latest Flash

I am new here. But is there a way to install the latest Flash on 2006 os, so I can view google video and youtube? Thanks.

Nope. Flash support for the 770 is currently stuck with version 6 (version 7 for Linux). I believe Google Video and YouTube requires version 7. There's some work going on to get version 9 working in Linux, but we still don't know if we'll be seeing it on the 770 anytime soon.

Macromedia has stated that they will not release flash 9 for linux until the next windows revision (9.24 or something). I presume that once they get off their asses for flash 9 on non-windows x86 systems, they will also provide binaries for other architectures.
Here's to hoping...

All I know is that flash 7 is old as dirt and is being left in the dust every day by more sites moving to newer versions, and it's a shame no one that works at Macromedia (now Adobe) has even attempted to work on a Linux version until just recently. Mark my words, once a lot more people start using Linux on desktops and laptops, you'll see companies like Adobe jumping to the challenge to get their software to the platform. They'll go where the users go. Count on it.
