most likely rubber bands, kinda like a gatling gun.
each spike holds one end of a rubber band and then there is some kind of mechanism that flips it of, making it shoot forwards. im guesstimating that it holds some 72 bands ;) btw, for those that dont feel so much like a craftsman: http://www.firewheel.com.au/fw/index.aspx |
