Help? Knips shows a green screen
 

when I boot off MMC. When I boot from flash it works as normal.

In both cases the videochatting camera app autostarts and runs like it's supposed to, so there's nothing wrong with the camera, it's just the MMC version of Knips, which I assume hasn't changed recently? Is there some other app/repository that I might have installed that would interfere with Knips' function? Is there some other useful camera app that I might use instead? :eek: :confused: :(

Anybody? I have killed it (with this green screen crash) two different times now. Is this the only decent camera app for the tablet? I know camera has that bug where it does not flip the screen when you rotate the lense past vertical (which knips does correctly). What can I be doing to kill knips so easily? I know I had installed a lotta things after knips the first time I killed it, but I think I had only put like 2 games and pidgin on it since it worked this time, and bang, green screen.

not sure of the utility to you but my liqbase gets camera images via gstreamer and allows images to be saved quickly as png files.
(plus lots more besides)
