Question about Carman
I know that Carman only supports OBDII which usually cars built in 1996 and up. My question is, would there be a way to configure the Carman to support OBDI?
If not possible is there an app that supports OBDI? I prefer OBDI because OBDII has limitation about tuning. |
Re: Question about Carman
Do you have an OBD1 connector? Was OBD1 standardised (I don't know off the top of my head), if so, you should be able to change the parsing code to support it reasonably easily. If it's not standardised, you might have troubles getting hold of the specs for your particular car.
