help installing gngeo
 

hello

i went here http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/gngeo/

grabed the gngeo for my n800 i tried to install it but i stuck on the begn with erorr..

unable to install gngeo
incompatible application package



any easy help .. thx

Same issue here on a diablo install. Feel like i'm missing something obvious. I'm going to dig around.

Have you figured out a way to fix this issue?

I have the same problem, Incompatible Application package.
Same thing happens for Xmame.

After 2 days searching how to fix it, I´ve found the .deb here:

If you click to install, you´ll receive an error. So, you need to download the package and then, follow these instructions:

For some reason, even as root, I was receiving an error with the install of the deb:

manually creating the directory /media/mmc1/roms/neogeo allowed the install to go through.
