searching developer for a full screen flip clock :)
I would really love to have a full screen flip clock like this.
If any developer is interested can ask for the numbers pic. How hard can be? :) https://garage.maemo.org/frs/downloa...ers_teaser.png https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_...elease_id=2164 |

Re: searching developer for a full screen flip clock :)
yes I know it could be possible to use a flash but this solution is:
1. really ugglier than mine :) 2. more resource consuming than a native app 3. it cant manage the alarms 4. it cant be improved showing for example the battery or the wireless state |

the main reason for my application is to feed my ego and have an application I can stare at my graphics as much as I can and I like the idea to have a native application to optimize for the device: I know, pretty nerdy attitude :) Thank you for the link to your site anyway, full of cool ideas. Feel free to take the graphic from my version to add another clock to your collection if u want: https://garage.maemo.org/frs/downloa...pclock.tar.bz2 |

You could do this with Cairo, won't be too hard, but a great learning experience. If in doubt, start with PyCairo and then move to C to make it a bit faster if you like.
