hello
i just purchased a nokia n810 and receiving it tomorrow. I read some comments that it is hard to connect the n810 to a windows mobile 6.0 and higher because the blue tooth is bt pan and not dun.
is it still possible to connect the n810 to the phone? and oh ya my service provider is at&t with a Samsung blackjack II if that helps. |
Re: hello
Welcome to the forums.
I'm not the person to ask about Bluetooth networking, but someone else is sure to have an answer for you. |
Re: hello
download PDA net to your phone. that should work. if your phone has wifi you might also want to try wmwifirouter. there's also some hacks that will enable dun on blackjack but i don't have any links right now. i'm using a moto q9c with pdanet and it works perfectly, not the fastest speeds but it gets the job done.

http://pocketpcmauritius.blogspot.co...-dun-greg.html The following page lists the HTC Touch HD as supporting Bluetooth DUN, and it's a Windows Mobile 6.1 device: http://www.mobiledia.com/phones/htc/touch-hd.html so it seems that Bluetooth DUN hasn't disappeared completely from WM devices. As another solution to the first post, you can also install the application called maemo pan. it took a bit of fiddling around with the connections but with some research/trial&error i got it to work. |
