Touch Screen Stopped Working

Hey i bought my N810 around a week or so ago, and it worked fine until today. I was trying to navigate through the menus, and the touch screen stops working =/ There is no physical damage done to the unit, no dents or scratches. Would i have to phone up nokia? I already tried to screen cablirate, no go.

Simple question: did you lock the screen ?
Shift the shift button on the top side right to the left.
If this does not help, turn it off and on (center button on top > 1 sec pressed).
When the touch screen does not work then, remove battery and reinstall it and turn on.
When this doesn't help contact a Nokia service center.

tried all that, actually ^ i was using your program and saw how uncalibrated my screen was the day before. And the next day it just stopped working. I turned it on and off, i know its not locked, i took out the battery did the reflash to no avail. So my best bet is to contact nokia? The device itself still works, still getting my RSS feeds, so im connected to WiFi my Bluetooth is on, i can open menus with the keypad. So afaik its just the screen thats dead.

mmm yes, goto nokia.
You have tried everything a normal user would be expected to.

I had something nearly identical happen. Works, then can't get a reasonable calibration, then really far off, then not working (there is something in bugzilla about non-linear calibration I entered).

Basically it needs a hardware repair.
