There will be Maemo 5, currently known by its codename "Fremantle". The Internet Tablet OS200x naming scheme is no longer used.

Nokia intends to release a new device running Maemo 5 next year. There's been nothing to indicate it will be anything but an Nseries device, but I don't recall any definitive statement from Nokia on the matter.

Contributors to iTT often refer to the upcoming device as the "N900", but that's not an official name. One of the Nokia employees at the summit used "N820" in a similar, placeholder-like way.
