Pidgin problem with yahoo
 

Just about a half hour ago i was using pidgin with the yahoo protocol and got some sort of system message saying the yahoo messenger network was down for maintenance. Yet, works just fine when i log on on my desktop and laptop. Is anyone else had this issue with pidgin, and maybe rtcomm as well (even though i dont use it)???

just tried it now, same problem. Wonder if it has to do with their recent outage.

Exactly same thing happened to me, except not in the Pidgin within my N810, but within the Pidging at my Linux desktop...

I am logging in using Pidging from Mexico City.

Go figure....

Yahoo was down for me today as well. I use Palringo on my Nokia N80 (which i'm actually here today to post about) ... Neither palringo or pidgin (on n800) would connect. Guess yahoo having a bad day :)

i just tried logging into yahoo using rtcomm and worked just fine....too bad i absolutely hate using rtcomm/built in chat client for IM.

Ok, just logged back in with pidgin seems to be working now....weird.
