RaidenX: Got this game downloaded, now how do I use it?
http://www.maxgames.com/play/raidenx.html
I managed to download this game (wasn't too hard. just view source, copy, paste, save) to my PC, and I can put it on my NIT, but I'm not sure of the easiest way to play it. I saw in another thread about two possible ways, one being the browser, and the other being that web applet on the desktop. What do you guys suggest? |

Do you want to play this while offline? If so, you need to download the flash app, rather than the source of the webpage.
If you look in the source, you can see the flash file here: http://216.40.252.170/raidenxNTU=.swf Download that to your netpad (using wget from the command line) and run it in microb (the browser). |

Yeah, already got that file. I was saying in my example above that to find that swf file quickly you can just view the source of the webpage, copy the link, load it in the browser, then save the swf file after it downloads. :)

Ugh, ran this on the tablet and it was so doggy that it wasn't even funny. Man, I think I'm gonna need to come up with some other ideas if I want this to run at full speed. :(

I've heard mplayer can run Flash apps faster, if they're compatible. Also, apparently running from rootfs off a fast SD card with swap will speed up Flash as well.
