Is there a working FTP application ?
I tried out Maemo FTP and GTK FTP, but none of them worked.
Maemo FTP: - When uploading a file I see the upload rate is decreasing rapidly so the file does not get uploaded. This does not occur when I use a PC FTP client to the same host. I got this problem on three different internet connections and it does not occur either when I use the builtin ftp of MC (midnight commander) on the N810. In these two cases the upload workws normally. gFTP: The new hildonized version (released dec 18) does not allow to fill in FTP host data, only ftp proxy data. The old GTK version there are very small boxes on top of the screen in which you cannot fill in anything. Is there a solution for this or does somebody haven an idea how to fill in FTP host data on gFTP ? |

I know it isn't the most intuitive interface but we needed to win space.
Btw, I have to investigate this bug: https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/ind...=507&atid=1909 Because it seems an important one. Any help to reproduce and get the backtrace is welcome. qwerty12, you should join to the garage project ;) |

skatebiker, I think I have fixed tha bug about the bookmarks you mention in the downloads page, could you test with this package: http://yerga.net/files/gftp-gtk_2.0....emo2_armel.deb I think it too fixes the report in the garage. Mea culpa ;) |

I installed this deb file over the existing installation and I selected the bookmark and it did not crash anymore. |

OpenJDK + CrossFTP might work.
Or RDP + FlashFXP. Or SSH + Screen + ... |
