how to conserve batter power
other than the suggestions at internet tablet school, are there any other ways?
btw, is it really better to leave the n810 on like a handphone like what was stated in the internet tablet school?:confused: |
Re: how to conserve batter power
I would guess so. The tablet school was written by a member on this board and is referred to by other members here. So whatever is recommend there is pretty much the standard here as well. Unless new information comes to light.

I don't have any testing data to prove the advice correct. But it sounds plausible. That said, a misbehaving process can drain the battery, when the tablet's left idle. It can't when the tablet's off. Personally, I let my tablet idle. But I frequently close off excess applications at bedtime, which reduces the chance a poorly written app will eat my battery overnight. |

there are times i wish there was a way to make the device "sleep" no matter what processes there where active, kinda like hittings standby on a windows box....

I never turn my N810 off. I just turn off the programs and lock the touchscreen and keys and let it sleep. It seems to last long enough to me for my used throughout the day.

Re: how to conserve batter power
i kinda recall reading some posts where people reported having the tablet fail to wake up from a soft poweroff.
and turning off wifi and screen can be done with going offline mode and then locking screen and buttons. |
