Internet call
How do you dial a "*" using the dialing pad when making an internet call.
For example to dial an PSTN 800 number with FWD you dial *800, or ***800 Thanks, Chris |
Re: Internet call
Haven't verified it for "in-call" dtmf keypad, but for before you make the call if you're using the latest version (after the last SSU update) you can actually click to select the phone number field (the drop down under the account one on the dialpad itself) and the virtual keyboard will pop up to let you type whatever characters you want. Again I'm pretty sure you need the latest SSU installed to do this though as I know it did not work in the past like this (now if only there was some way to make that + into a *...)

Re: Internet call
Which system are you on, Chris? Skype unlimited is only a few bucks a month for unlimited Skype out, $28/year/number for dialing in. It has its own pad with Touchtones and all. Skype-to-Skype always free! I even have a London, UK number as long as the national debt.
