The original Bluetooth Plugin available for 2006 OS
 

The original bluetooth plugin is available in a version 0.5.0 now for the 2006 OS at the same address as before:

I have nothing to do with the development effort, I'm just a grateful user of this plugin who thought to mention here that it was available. :)

Awesome BT keyboard now works in minimo. Crashed the 770 when trying to enter text in google search applet by selecting text area with stylus, on reboot tabbing to google search applet text field worked fine? Anyone tested GPS yet?

I was using GPS perfectly fine with MaemoMapper without the BT plugin.. just as an FYI.

I may be mistaken because I didn't test thouroughly, but it seemed to me that the previous version someone made available did disable the screen dimming/blanking, while this one doesn't ?

i have got a problem with de bluetooth connection.
the gps loses connection after 30 sec.
its a Oasis Media Bluetooth GPS Receiver with the Nemerix gps chip 16 channel.

when i connect it to my laptop there is no problem...

it looks like the nokia blue tooth connection freezes !

can some one help me with this ?

installed MaemoMapper for the 2006 os with out the bt fix.... not working.
installede bt fix stil the same...?

can i find some log files about bluetooth connections ?

I have the same receiver and exactly the same problem :-S

It appears to "hang" the BT driver, since closing the cover and opening it makes the problem go away (as does a hci0 reset). The bt workaround in MaemoMapper which is supposed to reset the bt driver, never worked for me. I can see what it is trying to do in the source, but it doesn't work....

Hopefully Nokia can fix this in the driver....
