No news on ITt?
 

So, ITt front page has become silent recently: hangover from New Year's parties or there is nothing new to say? Since August several independent voices (and enthusiasts) have disappeared and the latest announcement about ITt becoming maemo.talk looks like another step in the same direction. Conversely, Maemo has become much more active. I am not implying anything, just stating what I observed lately.

I continue reading the forum with great interest, which goes beyond the technical discussions about the tablet itself and its sofware.

The forum is great, but the news sections was only used for fueling hypes. Simply forget about it. planet.maemo.org is a much better source for news, IMHO.

I admit I read planet.m.o more often, but at least once a day it's worth checking the superset at http://maemo.org/news/ - this includes garage news and maemo.org announcements.

However, I agree the news section on ITT has always been the slightly runty cousin of the site's great asset: the forum. The move of the forum to talk.maemo.org is certainly a good thing and nothing to worry about.

Indeed, with the efforts of Glaubert and Reggie we're going to be getting a new theme which is consistent with the rest of the revamped maemo.org.
