Packageview update 0.3.20090129-1 won't go away.

I have Packageview 0.3.20090129-1 already installed on my Nokia N800 and it works fine. Why is it also showing up as an uninstallable update too? The update is uninstallable because it says it's missing libapt-pkg-libc6.3-6-3.11. The strange part is that both the update and the missing package are already on my Nokia and I can't get rid of the update notice. Could this be a repository problem?

Do you still have the problem? While beeing the author of PackageView it is not packaged differently as my other tools (for which I do not know of any problems)!?

Please do describe the problem in more detail.

I'll do an update soon of all my applications. Perhaps the problem will disapear.

Hey this program did the same thing to me, but now i can't install or unistall anything under application manager. the update does not seem to work either. AT first I just though it deleted my repos. And my application manger says different things now. The warning at the setup, authetication approval, is just reading different

Hello!

I do not have these problems and I currently do not have any idea how the application should create such effects. So this is eitehr not a problem of PackageView at all (an I had done that before I ever ask for help here. Then just last night I tried to install both the game and the extra cards again with the same results. The only cards I get are the Italian ones that I don't like. This is just my personal preference.
I will try to send a bug report as you ask. I appreciate your trying to help.d just coincidence) or a real tricky on.

As a result I need as much information as possible to reproduce and fix the bug. So please answer the following questions:
  • Which OS are you running?
  • What excatly are the effects? WHich packages (installing, uninstalling, update) are involved? Which changes are visible int he application manager?
  • Do you have red pill mode activated or made similar changes to the system making it different to the standard installation?
  • Which other packages do you have installed? Name at least packages that a special regarding their functionality or installation.
  • Name other modification that could influence application manager.
