NOKIA AD-42W Wireless Audio Gateway

Anyone using this or a similar device to play streaming music from the tablet through their home stereo? I know the N8X0s need some tweaking to enable A2DP.

I'd be more tempted to setup a UPnP server on your PC and share your music on a wifi network, at least that way you'll get full quality at the N8x0.

That device says it supports a2dp, so I presume you just pair a set of headphones with it, no tablet required. To play through the tablet, you'd need the tablet to masquerade as a pair of a2dp headphones, then would need to decode the sbc stream and output it. All quite doable, but not worth it IMHO when UPnP is there.

You can try the Blackberry Audio Gateway too. I've been using it with my N95 and it's great. (Order a Blackberry Travel Charger as well since it does not include a power adapter.)

Price does fluctuate; I was able to pick it up from Amazon for $20.

motorola S705 would also be a suitable A2DP receiver - it's pretty small too. Charges off mini usb port. just a shame tablet doesn't have avr control (yet).
