Why don't all new posts appear when selecting New Posts
 

In classic view, I see that selecting New Posts along the top blue row in forums does not show all new posts. However, going to the home page appears to show them (at least a short list).

This seems to be true for my own posts but after just checking I see that some others that are in the home page list are not in the New Posts page.

Any idea why?

FWIW I'm using Win XP Pro, and IE 7.

However, in my view, unread posts are bold and read posts are unbold.
And how come some new posts form others that I see in the home page (but haven't opened) don't show in New Postst view. I think I am still confused (but that's not unusual).

_Unread_ posts doesn't apply to the front page.
The _unbold_ posts are only showing when you go back (visited) or refresh the new posts page. When you open it anew from the front page they disappear (you get a new new posts timestamp). Sounds quite confusing now when I read it ;)
